New packaging line FDA-certified

BASEL, SWITZERLAND - Legacy Pharmaceuticals Switzerland is now ready for the US market. A new packaging area has been successfully approved by the American Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Customer orders will be manufactured from June onwards. This new packing line with production and storage rooms had already received pre-approval by the FDA in early March this year. The subsequent inspection was passed with no observations.

BASEL, SCHWEIZ - Legacy Pharmaceuticals Switzerland ist bereit für den US-Markt: Ein neuer Verpackungsbereich ist erfolgreich von der amerikanischen Lebens- und Arzneimittelbehörde (FDA) zertifiziert worden. Ab Juni können Kundenaufträge ausgeführt werden. Diese neue Verpackungslinie mit Produktions- und Lagerräumen hat die Vorzertifizierung der FDA bereits Anfang März dieses Jahres erhalten. Die darauffolgende Inspektion wurde ohne Mängel und Beobachtungen bestanden.

Production waste powers district heating

BASEL, SWITZERLAND - Taking care of the environment is a high priority for Legacy Pharmaceuticals. This is why, since the end of October 2008, liquid organic waste from this drug manufacturer has been used to produce biogas.

BASEL, SCHWEIZ - Schonender Umgang mit der Umwelt ist Legacy Pharmaceuticals ein Anliegen. Flüssige organische Abfälle aus der Arzneimittelherstellung werden deshalb seit Ende Oktober 2008 zu Biogas verarbeitet.

New packaging line for the US market

BASEL, SWITZERLAND - Thanks to the participation of a client, Legacy Pharmaceuticals Switzerland is in a position to invest in the construction of a new packaging line. This is to be inspected by the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA), opening the door to the largest single market in the world.
