President, Solco Healthcare US
Mr. Cole has over 17 years of experience in commercial operations, finance, and business development. From 2002 to 2008, Mr. Cole held various positions at Valeant Pharmaceuticals International including General Manager of the US Specialty Division, Vice President of Corporate Development, and CFO of Valeant North America. As General Manager, he was responsible for managing over 25 prescription and OTC brands across 14 different therapeutic areas. In 2007, Mr. Cole commercialized Oceanside Pharmaceuticals, the generic products division of Valeant, with three product launches during the first 12 months. Mr. Cole also managed the US Dermatology business and launched into the US the #1 selling OTC vitamin in Mexico. During his tenure as CFO of the North America region, Valeant's revenue increased from $90M to $300M through organic growth and acquisitions. Prior to Valeant, Mr. Cole held CFO and Vice President Finance positions as several emerging technology companies. He also spent six years at PwC Consulting including served as Principal leader of the west region Financial Management Practice. Mr. Cole is a CPA and received his MBA, with honors, from the University of Michigan and his BS in Accounting from the University of Southern California. |

Executive Vice President, Legacy Pharmaceuticals
Mr. Mooy has over 20 years of experience in the consumer healthcare industry at companies including Leiner Health Products, Perrigo Company, Twin Laboratories, and NutraMax Products. Most recently, Mr. Mooy managed two operating divisions with combined revenues of over $250 million. He has successfully led business development, sales and marketing organizations for private label and branded over-the-counter (OTC) pharmaceutical and nutritional supplement companies. Mr. Mooy is experienced in leading contract manufacturing organizations and has negotiated multi-million dollar supply chain alliances with leading pharmaceutical and CPG companies. He has also directed product development organizations and was responsible for a number of private label product introductions to the U.S. retail OTC market generating sales in excess of $100 million. Mr. Mooy is a Pharmacist and holds a BS in Business Administration.

Vice President of Global Commercial Operations
Ed is a seasoned executive with over 20 years of global experience in the life sciences industry. Prior to joining Legacy, he was COO of Cyntegra Diagnostics, a point of care molecular diagnostic company where he established the companys infrastructure and global commercial operations. Ed worked at ICN Pharmaceuticals (now Valeant) for nearly 13 years, including ten as Vice President, where he built responsible international operations in Asia, Australia and Africa regions from $3.5 million to $77 million. In addition to opening and expanding markets, he was participated in due diligence and integration for several major acquisitions. Before ICN he served for three years as General Manager of International Operations for Tokos Medical Corporation, a medical device and perinatal nursing service company where he established the international operations. He served as General Manager of Middle East and Africa for Allergan for three years. His responsibilities included establishing a regional headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland, and expanding the regional business. Ed started his life sciences career at Eli Lilly where he served for 11 years in sales, marketing and business development positions in the US, Europe and the Middle East. Ed holds a BS degree in Business Administration and an MBA both from the University of Southern California.

Shafi Rahman Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Solco Healthcare US
Mr. Rahman has over 30 years of experience in the generic and branded pharmaceutical industry at companies including: Apotex, Rugby Laboratories, Valeant/Oceanside, CaremarkRx, ESI-Lederle/Wyeth, and BMS/Mead Johnson. While at Rugby in 1992, Mr. Rahman launched the first authorized generic product in the US (Dyazide) under a partnership with SKB. Most recently, Mr. Rahman directed Oceanside Pharmaceuticals, the generic commercial division of Valeant, where he was responsible for initiating Oceansides contracting efforts with retail chains, managed care organizations, and wholesale distributors. Mr. Rahmans accomplishments include launching sales and marketing operations for generic products at three different companies, one of which (Apotex) has grown to over $1 billion in annual sales. He is experienced at developing and executing life cycle management programs, including partnerships with brand pharmaceutical companies to launch authorized generics. Mr. Rahman launched the first generic oral contraceptive in the US and developed the marketing plan for the first $100 million generic product. Mr. Rahman has an MBA with Honors in Marketing, BS in Management, BS with Honors in Pharmacy, and served as a pharmacist in the US Air Force.

Director, National Sales, Solco Healthcare US
Mr. Kaufman brings to Solco Healthcare more than 30 years experience in both the branded and generic pharmaceutical industry with companies to include : Ross/Abbott Laboratories, Wyeth Laboratories, McNeil Laboratories(Johnson & Johnson), Rugby Laboratories, and QK Healthcare. While at Ross/Abbott, Mr. Kaufman held various positions in sales and marketing and was ultimately promoted to General Manager of Abbotts Caribbean affiliate based in Kingston, Jamaica. Mr. Kaufman received the distinguished “ Abbott’s Presidential Award” (recognition to a single employee each year) for saving the Corporation from a projected loss of over 40 MM As National Sales Manager of Wyeth Laboratories, Mr. Kaufman was responsible for the creation and implementation of the Company’s first Nutritional Division. He personally developed the sales and marketing plan, hired all sales management and oversaw the daily activities of more than 90 representatives and nine managers. The division increased market share of more than four points after the first year. At Rugby Laboratories, Mr. Kaufman simultaneously held positions of Corporate Vice President and Vice President of Sales. His responsibilities included chairing monthly Corporate Board Meetings and daily management of more than 375 sales representatives,5 Division Vice Presidents and 32 field managers which encompassed every classification of trade to pharmaceutical sales. During his tenure at Rugby, sales increased by more than 300 million dollars, due in part to Mr. Kaufman’s intimate involvement with the first U.S. “authorized generic “products (Dyazide and Norinyl). As Vice President of Sales at QK Healthcare, annual sales increased from 200 MM to over 2 billion dollars in seven years. Mr. Kaufman holds a B.A. in Political Science and a MBA in Marketing from C W Post ,Long Island University and attended The University of Arkansas law School. During his career Mr. Kaufman was appointed to the Board of Directors of the Health Care Exhibitors Association and served as Chairman of the Joint Conferences on Medical Meetings for three years.

Christopher E. Maddox Vice President, Program Management
Mr. Maddox has 30 years of experience in engineering, project management, program management, operations and business development in the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries. He is responsible for managing new product development and transfers for our products and contract manufacturing customers in the US, and is Interim Site Director of our Puerto Rico manufacturing facility. From 2006 to 2008, he owned and operated a business management consultancy specializing in pharmaceutical project management and operational excellence. Prior to that time, Mr. Maddox held senior project management and consultant positions at Integrated Project Services, Fluor Daniel, and AHA Engineers, Inc. He is a Project Management Institute (PMI) certified Project Management Professional and an instructor for PMI’s Baltimore, Maryland chapter. Mr. Maddox holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management with Highest Honors from Strayer University and an Executive MBA from Loyola University Maryland. |
Mr. White moved to Basel, Switzerland in early 2006 and he was named General Manager of the Swiss site in August of 2006. Prior to Switzerland, Vance lived in Puerto Rico for 14 years with most of that time at Legacy's manufacturing site in Humacao during successive ownership of Syntex and Roche (Controller), and Valeant (Finance Director). Vance has worked in the pharmaceutical industry since 1988 when he joined Syntex in Palo Alto, California. Vance was Internal Audit Manager at both Syntex and at Petro-Lewis (Denver). Originally from Colorado, Vance holds a B.S. in Accounting from Metropolitan State College in Denver. |
